So that means we will see a 2009 release for Eight Days and The Getaway.

Awesome.

Can't wait to see Eight Days.

And SCE was working with GG? Awesome, that means it has a much higher chance of being awesome.

Well, they're a part of SCE now, so technically they were working with themselves. :P

This is good news indeed. I had a feeling Eight Days might never surface and essentially become vaporware.

"which is just ramping up to full production"

I wonder what the devs were working on up until this point.

Well, they said they have two pre-production teams and one production team which assists whichever pre-production team is working on the main project.  Since neither project had gone into full prodution until now, I assume that the production team was working on readying an ps3 engine for both projects.

Lol, "pre-production"? The Getaway was the very first PS3 title I ever heard of officially, must be 5 years ago or something...

Cool, good to see Eight Days is coming along.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Good news. At least sony admits that 8 days exhists.

So the main team has probably been spending a lot of time making development tools and engines for the PS3 to sell and probably working with GG on KZ2.

I guess we will see something neat at Gamer's Day or E3.
