Man, this one hits hard as someone who grew up with Star Trek Next Gen.

The 86 year old British stage and screen actor passed in his home in LA after a battle with Alzheimer's.

Rest easy, legend.

Few days ago Walter Koenig who played Chekov in original Star Trek passed away, now Patrick Stewart.

Yeah losing Walter just the other day makes it sting even more. :(

Only Shatner and Takei left from the original bridge crew now.

Wasn't a huge trekkie myself but Patrick was a legend for sure. Great actor with a great voice and a really down to earth guy apparently as well.
