So PS3 is behind by 6.4 mln. of x360.
If we use NPD numbers for USA instead of VG, then it`s only ~6 mln. behind.

16 weeks passed, 36 weeks left.
6 last weeks will sell a lot.
So 30 average weeks with GTA4 and MGS4, and LBP and KZ2 or R2 release between them.

30 weeks with +50k outselling on average = 1,5 mln.
30 weeks with +100k outselling on average = 3 mln.

Q1 2009 - i think, unless FFXIII comes in Q2 2009.
Though, with 299$ price it could be by Q4 2008.
But i believe definetely by Q1 2009 and not sure about Q4 2008, since it`s hard to predict how pricecut will effect sales and when PS3 slim is coming.

I'm not sure, the ps3 does have it's big games, but in a seriousness what do they ever boost a system maybe 100k to 200k but microsoft doesn't have all of it's cards on the table, which is a stark contrast of what sony has done, but that could be due to them not having any big power plays yet
frankly I think the general sales will hold relatively steady for atleast the next 6 months, so I'd say the ps3 will continue to out sell the 360 by 120k a month for the next 6 months so the difference will only drop by 720k, if that held the difference would be about 5.75 million,
after that it gets to tough to call, but I think mid 2010 the ps3 will take the lead and by 2011 the 360 will see a replacement and with in 6 months so will the ps3

I'll play it safe and say Q3 2009.
Could be sooner depending on the size and timing of price cuts, but I'll say Q3 2009 for now.
