@axumblade The poll got botted by Trails votes. Any solution to this?

Only thing I can really do is show the logged in user votes when you are ready. Unfortunately the anonymous users vote is unreliable now. It stinks because all of the titles are in single digits with the logged in users.

Well I guess I’ll just have to check in with you on October 15th for final results. Thanks again for setting up the poll to be on the front of the site BTW! :) Really appreciate it (even if bad actors may have come in and put a slight damper to the fun…).

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. The game looks, sounds, and plays amazingly, like a combination of a SRPG and a traditional RPG. Leda has also become one of my favorite FE characters.

Dang, and I thought the game got really popular with this site's frequenters for a second.

Man, even with all the bots going for Trails, FE looks to be set to win at least as far as the poll is concerned. I think it makes more sense though if, moving forward, the winner is determined by the “Registered Users” data, and not simply whichever game got the most votes. I think this incident has revealed to me the unreliability of site polls.

Yeah best to stick with registered votes I reckon, just to avoid the spambots ruining the fun.

edit: Um... well. I just glanced at Axum's page. "yeah, I'm out." Six days ago, and hasn't been back online since. Oof! Well maybe he's just out for vacation or something.

So, given the bot shenanigans, do we consider Trails the winner, or Fire Emblem?
