

A lot of positives previews these last few days. 
Surprisingly well-received. That and the similar-quality Onimusha releasing at the same time, too. Some games are going to have to wait...
Well, so far...yeah, Witcher roots are very deep in there. Quite AAA in presentation, with usual busy map showing things you haven't yet discovered, which I really dislike (so I've immediately switched everything to off).
Combat is interesting, with directional attacks and parries - seems to be zeitgeist lately.
I had problem with gamepad on Steam (seems to be problem many have), going into controller setup and setting left joystick deadzone (which is by default set to none) to anything (though I've seen people recommend square) fixes the issue.
I've expected mass market title, so I won't complain much - I've bought it primarily to see how they handle time limited progression and for more open-ended choices, so I hope it doesn't disappoint in that regard.
