I've been wanting a better gaming setup in my room, with all of my systems ready to use at the push of a couple buttons. So I went shopping and bought two of the long Ikea Kallax units with the metal risers on the bottom to hide all the plugs underneath. I also needed a solution for my pet snake's vivarium to sit on so this solved both issues. Very happy with it all so far, each console's power cable is individually switched to conserve power and I use an AV switch box connected to a retro tink mini going to the TV. Oh and the Mega Drive on the bottom is sideways because the Mega CD is attached and only fits in the shelf that way lol, same goes for the Turbografx as the AV lead comes out the side.

Much neater than mine, I got half my consoles on the floor next to the cabinet cos no more room in it.

I love this setup! I have always wanted a set up where I can neatly showcase some of my retro consoles. Really like the touch with the area for your lizard (it’s for a lizard right?).
