Bro we're so fucked 😂

Gotta adjust down my PS5 sales predictions. Let's see when Nintendo follows.

That's what no real competition is doing.

Sony still has the top seller console in the market, so obviously they increase price.

Welp, time to bring back this banger I guess.

Everyone is increasing their prices. Not an issue of competition. They don't want to lose too much money on hardware.

NAND and RAM prices are skyrocketing. This might even lead to Switch 2 cartridge prices increasing to $90. Prepare for the worst.

PS3 was a steal, we were just 20 years behind we could realise it.

I'm sorry PS3, I was too harsh on you.

PS5 will probably be the last one I buy at this rate. I bought for 60,000 yen. I will try to get Switch 2 before the price increase. I secured myself a PC last year just before everything went up in price. I checked the page for the exact same PC again, and it is up 100,000 yen.

Are we in for a gaming crash again?

Hopefully the AI bubble pops soon or it's not just gaming that will crash. Tech will become unaffordable to people like it was in the 80s, the problem is, it's in everything now.

Yeah, surely Nintendo's decision to untie physical and digital prices has to do with that.

As a digital only player, I am so glad I won't have to pay NAND tax for my digital games anymore.

Those price increases are much harsher and came much sooner than I was expecting. Makes me wondering if they aren't actually planning another price increase next year
