The cheapest PS5 Pro I found in the store today cost around 857 Euro(that's 987$), and this in my eastern Europe country(Romania, borderline 3rd world country). After next price increase it will cost between 1050 and 1100$, and that's without the disc drive.

Dude, Sony doesn't have much choice. The ram in my computer has gone from $130 to $450. The HDD in my computer has gone from $250 to $550... Sony shouldn't be expected to take massive loses on their hardware. This isn't Sony's fault. Nintendo is going to follow suit.
