@rol, what do you mean that 150gp is not based on luck, you can see in the videos that they are up near the front then getting hit by 3-4 items in a row. This is seen in this video and the review video IGN put up. How do your skills avoid this

Let's just say that Rol won almost every race in the European league which has been going on, even though there are other good players there.

Well, even this bad review gave it an 8.4.
Personally, bitching about the removal of snaking is like bitching about the removal of dirt from your vehicle by rain.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.

Let me lay it down for ya, you whom I oh so hate to address directly.
This is the first Mario Kart where the same computer opponent doesn't win every single GP race if you lose.
Therefore, winning every race is much harder than it was before to compensate for that.
So basically, when you do win every race, it's not because that is what is necessary to win the cup, it's just because you have skill and luck on your side.
It still takes a lot of skill get to first place in the first place, and that skill will continue to help you in every race, while the luck won't always go against you.

Thanks for the response guys. I'm surprised they never bash any other game that is hard or requires luck to win, if its not as hard as you guys are making it out to be. I know for the later races in GT5p you need alot more then luck to win those races. Then you have CoD4, where the computer is definition of cheap.
@Zen,
"Let me lay it down for ya, you whom I oh so hate to address directly." Why would you hate to talk to me, i don't go around and argue with everyone like some guys. I don't even bash games.

Strangely, this entire matter inspired me to make an image...
It sums up my impressions of gaming and the communities it's spawned nicely, if not in full detail.
Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.

I love it when Rol smacks down poseurs who aren't as hardcore as he is.
