A few things:

1) Calling people names because they have a differing opinion speaks about you more than it does about others.

2) It isn't an "either or" situation.  The US can be wrong, and it can also be true the Iran does in fact massacre their people.  Most things, in fact, are not mutually exclusive.

3) The world wants to hate the US, so be the first to stop buying US products.  So toss all you video game systems (AMD or Nvidia chipsets) in the garbage.  Toss your phone in the bin (Android or Apple).  Stop using Netflix.  Stop using X/Twitter.  Toss your computers in the garage (AMD or Intel).  Etc, etc.  People want to complain about the US while doing nothing but supporting the US with their purchases.  Money gives power, hate the US so much, stop supporting it.

Just a quick note about Android: While Google is the original developer and also maintains most of the code, it's actually not owned by Google anymore and it's freeware now. Hence how Android distros without any Google services are a thing. My phone (Fairphone 5) even came with the option for /e/ or CalyxOS as the operating system if I had bought it online, though my provider only had the standard Google Chrome option available.

As for the rest, this is why many countries slowly try to decouple but can't fully do so because critical parts are only coming from one region or another, and many of them in the US. The aforementioned computer and console chips for instance are all designed in the US, mostly produced in Taiwan with machinery only available from the Netherlands. Microprocessing hardware however is very difficult to set up from scratch, and even someone like Elon Musk would be bankrupted by this before the chips would become anything close to competitive.

In short, people and countries decouple slowly, but only where it's reasonably possible for most people, as in physical goods and service providers that are available from other countries, but these options simply don't exist for everything.

Agreed, which was my point.  The secondary point is the US isn't going to change until people get of their products.  The US is only going to respond to money.

I didn't know that about Android, so fair point, thanks for the information.

Edit

As long as people continue to support Apple, Nvidia, Disney, Amazon, etc..  the US will NEVER change.  Change is only going to occur via financial hits.

U.S. has uncontrollable debt and a huge trade deficit with China because you transfered all your factories there.
We don't need to do anything , you will bankrupt in the next 20 years. :P

I have been hearing that since the 80s, lol.

Edit

Also, you might want to read up on all the agreements that Apple, Nvidia (and others) have in place to move a whole bunch of that back to the States.  US companies have over a $1,000,000,000,000 committed to returning work back home.

These companies say they're investing more in U.S. manufacturing as tariffs go into effect - CBS News

I will maybe be banned for this, but the number of dumb people in this thread is just unbelievable.
The fact that people dont realize that "massacre of people in Iran" is just american propaganda to justify the illegal assault on Iran.
Americans always do the same thing.
They hire mercenaries to wreak havoc in countries so then americans can invade the country and continue to kill children like they doing in past 70 years.
IT worked in the past so why not keep doing the same thing.
You americans go and keep been dumb and let your country continue to manipulate you like they always do.
And ofc dont forget to celebrate your POS soldiers when they come home, but just remember when you do that, that same soldier probably killed multiple kids.

A few things:

1) Calling people names because they have a differing opinion speaks about you more than it does about others.

2) It isn't an "either or" situation.  The US can be wrong, and it can also be true the Iran does in fact massacre their people.  Most things, in fact, are not mutually exclusive.

1. Its not different opinion, its the fact, over 200 kids is already killed in Iran in just few days, how many more  are going to be killed, what you think.

Ok calling people dumb is not OK, but how else to address people who buy in to this BS, US government doing for years, not years, decades.

2. And you know that how? From your media? No one know what is going in there expect people who live there and i dont see anyone complaining about life in Iran. They only started to show these BS pictures from people in Iran (most likely hired by US government) with some weird signs and some idiotic news about, what was the number, something like 50000 killed in protests, few weeks before illegal assault. You rly need to be blind to believe in to that.

3.Of all these things i only own Nvidia GPU and Switch 1. Dont own Android or Apple phone, ofc never used that crap called Netflix and never had Twitter and never will.

I actually have a few friends from Iran, and you have to be kidding me..  you think women are happy in Iran?  LGBTQ?  Are you really not aware of rights in Iran?

My take, probably my last post, is people are viewing this situation as a Disney movie.  Meaning they are looking for the hero and villain.  This isn't Disney.  Trump is a dangerous tyrant.  Iran had 60% enriched U-235, power plants require 2-5%...  there isn't a long list of reasons to have 60% enriched U-235.  Perhaps there are no heros and there are multiple villains?  Just my opinion, you are entitled to be respected for yours.

I mean Greece did already bankrupt itself, so I guess you know what you're talking about.  Who knows what the AI future holds for the world, it could flame out, or it could dramatically change everything around the world including the value of money.

Your video game systems are either AMD (American) or Nvidia (American).  Your PC is either Intel, Nvidia or AMD.  Your smart phone is either Apple or Android (google).  Lol, those are just facts my friend.

For the record I get and to a degree support people hating the US because of Trump.  I almost didn't return home from an international job because of Trump.  But that doesn't change the fact that entire world currently supports the US financially.  The US runs on money, meaning politics will change once it hurts the wallets of our businesses and best I can tell, the world isn't giving up our technology anytime soon.

I know, but some things don't have a viable alterantive (yet)

I'm using an old laptop, ACER Predator, made in Taiwan. But sure it has NVidea 1060 GPU, which was manufactured in Taiwan / South Korea.

I ditched my phone in 2009, I prefer to rot my brain with recreational drugs rather than Twitter / FaceBook / TikTok nonsense :p

When possible I use intercac e-transfer rather than Visa, but online purchases are mostly under American control.

I cancelled Netflix and Prime, switching to Crave (Canadian owned)

You can boycott US products, not all, but that doesn't mean don't try.

The entire world is forced to support the US financially as any country that tries to introduce an alternative payment system or attempts to trade in other currencies gets bombed by the US military. However that is not sustainable and BRICS keeps expanding regardless.

Not that BRICS will save us all, far from it. However one country dominating the financial market under the trigger of a gun isn't working either.

lol who actually believes that bullshit. They've been saying they are a "week or two away" from having nukes for like 15+ years.

More like Israel has Epstein dirt on Trump and now is the best time to play their card, before Trump loses badly in the mid-term elections and becomes a lame duck president.

That sounds like a conspiracy to me lol.
Isn't it more likely that the US intelligence agencies actually found some proof of some sort, and decided now was the time to act ?

Also, if your telling someone for over 15 years as you said, to stop trying to develope Nukes.... and they don't listen.
Yeah... at some point, either all your talk is worthless.... or you do something about it.

Basically I believe what you call BS.

I don't think the US would start a war for fun or to distract or whatever weird reasoning you think more likely.

When I saw your initial post, I thought you were trolling. You are serious. This just makes me sad. Now I see how those in power get away with so much. Netanyahu has been saying Iran is "weeks away" from Nuclear weapons since I was a child. I'm a middle aged man now.

That is different. Woman rights and LGB rights are issue in most, if not all, (greater) middle east countries. By that logic US should bomb every country in middle east. Its not Tramp, US is dangerous tyrant. For you people in US maybe it seams that democrats and republicans are different but to rest of the world its the same. You just change one tyrant ruler with another. As you said, there are no heroes here, but US and Israel are just pure evil, nothing more nothing less.

You cant claim people are happy when half the country is basically enslaved.  I mean, wtf?

And the US has its problems but it also has done a lot for the world.

And you ignored the fact Iran has 60% enriched u-235 when power plants need 2 to 5%.  What do you think Iran was working on?  Hmmm
