Toys R Us is alerting customers that they will have "more Wii in-store than ever before" this Sunday, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!! They also plan to have bucket loads of the current best reason to buy a Wii: Mario Kart Wii. Both can be pre-ordered, which I would assume would guarantee you copies, though I bet I'm assuming wrong.

So Toys R Us stockpiled for Kart, or is Nintendo even "fludding" the market more than ever? 

 i predict riots, few injured people and animals(everybody want wii) and one death.

I have seen the signs at Toys R Us stores.
(And have mentioned it in passing in a couple of other threads -- especially ones discussing how much the PS3/X360 will gain because of GTA-IV).

One noted that they would have Wiis on Sunday. Another said to pre-purchase a Golden Ticket (for $200).

Usually when this happens, 100 or more people line up at each store. And there are 600 stores. That's 60K right there. And usually other stores get more shipments too.

Oh well.

Every thread these days it seems is comprised of people saying that a thread already exists. I think it is difficult to research a thread's existence at this site...and until a proper thread search feature is in place it is too much to ask people not to duplicate topics. The search feature at the sign in box is fine...but not nearly adequate or good enough to keep people from duplicating threads.

I would agree, however, most people also include a link to the original. This helps keep all the conversation about the topic in a single thread, and allows the OP to see what others think about the topic rather than him thinking no one is interested.
