Halo on the original Xbox was my first impression. Loved both the multiplayer and the single player campaign. If it hadn't been for Smash Melee and Rogue Leader's graphics on my Gamecube I would have liked Xbox's launch window better than the Cube's just because of Halo.

My interest in the console died down shortly after but Splinter Cell reignited it in a big way and went on to be possibly my favorite game on the console. It looked so good and played beautifully; the control of the character and camera completely schooled Kojima on how to make a game like this play. Sam Fisher owned Solid Snake that generation in my opinion.

Like most here, I got my start with the OG Xbox as well.

My parents got me and my brother one as a present in our teens, around 2003; I was bummed out at the time cos as an SNES/N64 kid, I really wanted a Gamecube, but apparently thew guy at the store talked my Dad into getting an Xbox instead by insisting the Gamecube was "more for little kids" lmao

Once the initial disappointment wore off though, I did really love it. It came with Oddworld Munch's Odyssey, Jedi Star Fighter, and Blinx 2, though later we picked up Godzilla Save the Earth, Star Wars Battlefront I and II, Doom 3, Panzer Dragoon Orta, and Halo 1 + 2. 

Series X. I was intimidated at building a pc so I got the X for gamepass and pc-lite experience.

I ended up building a pc anyway and realized how simple it is with a bit of research. Now I have a Series X that's not used much but has appreciated in value by $150.

OG Xbox in 2004 when the Crystal system launched. Pretty much played it religiously until 2007 when I got a Xbox 360. I think the play time I had those 3 years still to this day eclipses any amount of time I’ve put into a system. I think I only ever owned less than 10 games for it too. Half-Life 2, KOTOR2, Fable TLC, Halo 2, TES3:Morrowind, Juiced and Star Wars: Republic Commando. Good times.
