Compared to PS5 graphics mode? Of course not. But I do think the Switch 2's image seems a bit sharper from the footage we saw than base PS5's performance mode. That's not necessarily better for everyone, and it's not better overall, but I actually prefer a sharper image with some (DLSS) artifacting than a blurry one. 

Of course, for a fair comparison we'd compare the games running at 30fps to each-other and the PS5 is obviously better in all aspects there. 

And it is also possible that they fine-selected scenes from the trailer where the SW2 version has higher image quality (assuming it uses DRS; I've read fixed 900p -> 1080p but not sure where that information came from.) 

I like the high contrast of the S2 on the first photo comparison, it makes the PS5 version looks pale imo.

The second one, I like the PS5 version just because I prefer the Sephirot stance than the S2 version. The rest of the picture looks pretty much the same.


Relax everyone, we all know that the white brick sized PC custom box can pull more raw power for the game performance than a tablet that is slightly bigger than my hand.

No need to foam over a simple compressed picture comparison of 2 scenes on a single game

Better as in which has superior quality? Then it's not a question.

It would be so funny to see everyone confidently pointing the objectively better version if it was showed the same picture without the logo in the corner lol

They both look good enough that I don't actually care.
