So the wii sold about 100 million consoles and about 910 million games. Lets say that out of the 100 million wiis sold that 10 million of them were owned by super duper hardcore nintendo fans who bought 50 games each so thats 500 million there and lets say another 20 million were just your run of the mill hardcore gamers who own every console and since theyre hardcore gamers they buy a decent amount of games lets say 17 a piece so thats 340 million games. That means the remaining 70 million consoles were sold to grandmas who had one game wii sports and then threw it in the closet, so really the wii was 3rd place and sony wins another championship

Exactly! As a super duper hardcore Nintendo gamer myself I couldn't possibly say no to Redneck Jamboree, Chicken Shoot and Bratz the Movie the Game!!!

As a fellow super duper, i own 2 out of the 3 games you listed.

You have to admit the shovelware on the wii is way more fun and interesting than the shovelware in the ps3 or 360

Sure, you just payed $50 for a shitty flash game. But it's a shitty flash game that is actually fun and works and you're a casual that doesn't know it was ported from Newgrounds to the Wii. So you are happy. (You as in the third person. Not you as in angrypoolman.)

You make a good point. What would you rather get high and play, a shitty flash game from newgrounds or the outfit on xbox 360

Honestly, I see shovelware as a non-issue, because nobody's forcing you to play it.
Every successful system ever has mountains of shovelware, what matters is how many good games it has.

I agree. I just want to add that when a system has the exact same games as a system I already own it becomes a dud for me.
