It's 10am on the 1st of January here in Aus, can confirm the sun does indeed rise again in 2026.

What are people's new years resolutions? Mine is to beat depression, which has hit me hard recently.

Think I have the same one, or at least to break the streak of yearly traumatic events I've been having for 3 years now. I have faith this year will be better, not necessarily great or even good but at least better.

Happy new year, everyone.

Wishing you all the best, hang in there.

There's getting back on track with things like dieting and exercise and I have a lot of money saved up now so getting into investing is something I'd like to do soon to make the future easier. I'd also like to spend more time with family and as has been mentioned the depression will be temporary. You like your job which is already a huge boon loads of people don't have so assuming you're happy about your relationship you're in a good place to overcome it this year. If those things stay stable I'm confident it won't last anywhere near as long as last time so good luck overcoming in the coming months.

Thanks; been trying to keep a good diet and exercise regime going, it's tough but I think I am doing okay.

I've taken mental health leave from work as I am just too weak atm; I go back in February, hoping by then I have recovered some.

Happy new year everyone!
