Considering the GPU aspect, yes, this game can probably run decently on Switch 2; however, I'll be very surprised to see the Switch's little toy CPU running this game decently.

I'll have to tip my hat to the team that manages to get this game running well on the Switch 2's CPU; it would undoubtedly be irrefutable proof that any current-generation game is capable of running on the Switch 2. I still have my doubts, but I'll wait and see.

Think there is a lot of stupid CPU bloat in this game. Like the CPU is bogged down by characters that aren't even on screen and in some cases not even in the direct environment the player is in.

As someone whohas played through it on PS5, Wilds is an incredibly unoptimized game, cos nothing about it seems like it should all that CPU-intensive. There aren't like hundreds of monsters on screen at once, there's not that many physics-driven objects and systems, etc.

They recorded some gameplay simulations using the settings for undocked mode.
