Okay, perhaps they are not Nintendo. This sudden turnaround must be dementia. All those years of making crappy licensed games make them realize they have no meaning as developers.

The only answer is to develop games as hardcore as they can. 

What if Tyler Durnden is running this studio?



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Well, there's no sudden turnaround. Nothing prevents them from making a crappy FPS. But i think you should consider Conduit as a tech demo for Quantum 3, just like Unreal Tournament is just a demo for the main product, Unreal Engine. There aren't Wii specific engines available, so High Voltage is basically entering the blue ocean.
