Will the delays impact GTA VI sales?

No. Not at all. 26 86.67%

Yes, but it will only have so much impact 3 10.00%

Yes, Rockstar will feel it. 1 3.33%

The global economy in November 2026 might have changed a lot, I have no idea. But assuming it is the same, I think GTA VI will sell better with the delay, gives them a full extra year to build anticipation and hype.

No but definetly the PS5 which isn't gonna be selling as much this year as I would have thought.

True, but it probably won't matter much in the long run.

May 2026 release = stronger 2026, weaker 2027

November 2026 release = weaker 2026, stronger 2027

As I expect the PS6 to be a late 2028 release, I completely agree on the logic, but I also expect GTA 6 to be delayed again to 2027, so no impact at all on the 2026 sales, just 2027.

But if the PS6 releses in late 2027, the PS5 won't ride as much on GTA 6 sales during 2027, which is bad for it if it does come out only in 2027, because people will be starting to shift focus to the PS6 instead.

Anyway, there will be a big boost regardless, and if what I expect for both turns out to be true (GTA 6 early 2027, PS6 late 2028), then 2027 is going to be huge.

Would it sell even more with chocobos on it?

Day 0 purchase.

(Even though I was already going to get it day 1 lol).

Not at all, GTA has turned into your cod or fifa; you keep buying them even though it is the same shit all over again.

It's been 12 years since the last GTA launched.

It's not really at all like a yearly franchise, I would say...

I hope the union busting causes them to loose sales. Fucking wankers

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

What a bizarre take. We haven't had a new GTA since 2013... and I'd say GTA IV was very different to GTA:SA and GTA V was very different to GTA IV... If GTA is similar enough to it's previous games to just be "the same shit all over again" you could say the same for almost every game series out there.

Certainly not remotely close to CoD/Fifa in how derivative of previous entries they are.
