This is a console after all, no? Makes sense to look at this from a console user POV IMO. I guess maybe a good question: What is the appeal? I’m struggling to see it, as somebody who is making the jump to PC later this year. |
My thoughts are: Laptop users
You want a lower cost PC (sometimes you need to look for many different retailers to find good prices), that is small and portable like a laptop to move between Monitor and TV, instead of a huge stationary PC
Yes, it will be less powerful than a console! But online is free, software is less expensive, you have disccounts of different stores (Epic, GOG, etc), and you can customaze your games, using mods
My BF plays a lot online multiplayer games with his friends, and he can't fathom using consoles because he doesn't want to pay for online
But he also wants something to keep with him when he travels, and he likes to play at a big screen. He buys a laptop for the portability, but laptops are more expensive and less efficient
