PC gaming is primarily used with DisplayPort, so I'm guessing that's why it has HDMI 2.0. Not as important.

Though they are marketing it as a device for your living room TV. So the lack of HDMI 2.1, and VRR by extension, is a bit of a kicker on that front.

Apparently it's HDMI 2.1 capable and supports VRR/HDR. Going by the Digital Foundry video, supporting 4K/120fps output.
