#10 - As of November 2023, this game has 96 race tracks, by far the most in the series
#9 - This game immortalized Chris Houlihan
#8 - This RPG spawned several sequels, one expansion, and a couple of remasters, one of which arrived just this year; not bad for a game that almost never made it to North America
#7 - For 21 years, loyal fans have waited for the numbered sequel to this game
#6 - In this game, you can manipulate the protagonist's mustache in the start menu

The final 5. The epic finale.

5) The second best JRPG which starts underground and inside people's minds and naturally ends on a scyscraper

4) The best puzzle game which starts underground and then goes further underground and naturally ends on the moon

3) The best open-world RPG where you fight humans with steel and monsters with silver

2) The best RTS which had the worst remaster (but it's mostly cleaned up now, only took them 5 years)

1) The best JRPG and video game where you go on a journey to regenerate a dying world

4. Portal 2
3. I don't know much about it, but this gives me Witcher 3 vibes.
2. Warcraft 3?
1. Idk, gonna guess Dragon Quest XI.

10. Mario Kart 8
8. Hmmm, Trails in the Sky?
7. Metroid Fusion
6. Super Mario 64

Edit: wait, Dread came out in '21, but it was 19 years after Fusion, never mind... Not sure about that one.

#10 and #6 are correct.

For #7, as of 2025 loyal fans have waited for 21 years. And they're still waiting.

Throwing them all out there now.

Current list - https://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=249858&page=1#6

16 (incorrect guesses - Dino Crisis 3)
- This sequel went in a more action packed direction than its predecessor, possibly foreshadowing the direction the similar, more popular franchise from the same developer would also take.
- By killing enemies, you earn extinction points, which can be used to buy new weapons, ammo, and health supplies.
- The second game in this series that has been dormant for over 20 years. The poorly received third numbered entry is what probably killed the franchise off for now.

12
- The location our hero visits has a striking resemblance to the codename of the console this game first released on.
- You have to serve punishment for a crime you didn’t commit.
- Often seen as one of the lesser 3D entries in this incredibly popular platform series.

10
- This game, which launched a major franchise, was originally conceived as a remake of another title
- “Wow, what a mansion!” - just one of several iconic lines from this game that’s known for its cheesy dialogue.

09
- This sequel takes players outside of the United States for the first time, with competitions based in France and Mexico. That said, there are still plenty of American locations to visit.
- A superhero is available as an unlockable character, whose special move sees him using his web slinging ability, allowing his board to be flung about and pulled back to him.

05
- Yet another re-working of this game was recently announced for release next year.

04
- A cross-gen release that had its map mirrored on the more powerful hardware.

03
- In this game, the hero can fake flight for the first time. There are three power ups that allow you to do this.

02
- Some feel the abundance of human enemies in this game lessens the sense of isolation the previous game did so well. By the end of the second level, you’ll have come across more human enemies than you will have done in the entirety of the previous game.

01
- In a way, this game is kind of one long escort mission.

3 out of 4! Only number 1 is incorrect.

16) Dino Crysis 2

12) Super Mario Sunshine, but I don't remember the punishment. Did Mario get blamed for Yoshi's tax fraud?

9) Tony Hawk's Pro Skater... 2?

4) Twilight Princess? It's still wild that they did that.

1) Yoshi's Island?

So I did technically already compile your list but I don't remember it in detail. 8 sounds like Xenoblade to me.

Guessed by @mZuzek

I'm the best at space.

Portal 2 is one of those few games that's damn near perfect. I mean I could find something to complain about if I really wanted to but I'd have to put in an effort. Fantastic puzzles, fanastic story, fantastic funny writing. I wish we could have more games like this.
