That's a pretty big tell that the next Smash Bros. is going to have at least one Resident Evil rep as a playable character. Grace and Leon maybe as two?

I would like the playable Character for Smash from Resident Evil was Ashley or the Fat guy who locked himself in the Truck in Resident Evil 3
Capcom pushing the Switch 2 version this hard is a night and day difference compared to how unenthusiastic they were about supporting Switch 1.
Woah if I can get the generation pack for ~$100 in my country I might actually bite, even with the key-card bullshit.
This will be the first Resi game I played since RE4 on Cube and then again on Switch. About to purchase some of the other prior Resi games on Switch 1 to prepare for this Trilogy on Switch 2.

I still remember being salty that the Wii U wasn't getting Revelations 2, despite the spin-off subseries being born on the 3DS.

Yeah that one was especially annoying as it came out on the Vita which was also a flop.
Plus aside from Monster Hunter Rise (which was admittedly great) pretty much everything they brought to Switch 1 was a dusty old port from PS3/360 or even PS2.
