Sunday's are my biggest gaming day where I can play for several hours. I try to sneak in an hour here or there during my lunch break since I work from home.

That's kind of a wild schedule. I'm the opposite these days, playing in small sessions on most evenings. A few years back I used to play 30+ hours quite consistently. The most I've ever played is probably like 50+ when playing Persona games. |
I do it this way because (i) weekdays are the days I need to be focused (and not distracted late in the evening with mindless fun), (ii) it makes my weekends a whole lot more special, and (iii) I always feel very well rested going into the week.
50hr per week sure sounds like a lot. I think the most I have ever done was 38hr/week during May & June 2023, back when TotK was literally my entire life lol. I would love to do more than 8-14hr/week (my current average)…but it’s hard to find the time.

Yeah I get that, though I don't think I could game a whole day unless I have a game I'm extremely into (like the aforementioned Persona games) or at a LAN, small sessions work well for me and gaming in the evening isn't a big deal since I function fine on ~6 hours sleep. But that thing about making it more special is also kinda why I don't game as much as I used to, I would tire out on most games if I play them too much, better to spread it out and enjoy it more.
