OK, i have been wondering this for a while now The Ps3 and the 360 are much stronger systems and have a lot better online play and so forth. Also they have much stronger games. Dont get me wrong i love brawl and stuff but what else dose it got?

 I mean when one of the bigest games  is Mario Cart witch is what i played when i was like  8 ( It was fun tbh) and they have no other games that seem good other then that. So why is the wii doing so well i mean one of the games i was most looking forward to was zelda and i bought that for my gamecube. On the other hand the 360 and Ps3 have a lot more good games to offer and they are not selling as good why?

Summary: Not everyone has the same opinion as you. (kinda harsh, but true.)

Super Mario Galaxy. Metroid Prime 3. And by the way Mario Kart is HUGE. Monster Hunter 3 is not my thing but apparently it rules in Japan with an iron fist. Resident Evil 4, RE Umbrella Chronicles.

Trauma Center, Excite Truck, Fire Emblem, No More Heroes etc. etc.

Wii Sports, Wii Play, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Guitar Hero III, Raving Rabbids etc. etc.

Seriously, I realize you're new, but trust me when I say this has been THOROUGHLY discussed and "the Wii has no games" is total FUD. (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt -- i.e. the spreading thereof.)

many people see it as a fun gadget, buy it for their kids, and the price of the Wii also helps a lot, and of course there are hardcore gamers buying it, many of them hardcore Nintendo gamers, but at my work, I've seen many dads, and chicks and moms talk about it last christmas.. at the moment it's a family, party console, with a nice price, and some great games for the hardcore Nintendo fans..

1) Controls the world has never seen before.

2) The best pack-in game in the last decade, Wii Sports.

3) Cheaper price.

4) Better marketing, and usually free through word of mouth and random local news outlets covering convalescent homes or people losing weight with Wii Sports (before Wii Fit was even announced).

5) The Nintendo magic which never went away.

For three reasons

1.- Have good games
2.- Is very fun
3.- Have the best controls ever

You are a minority.

Also, to counter your 2 points about the HD consoles.

1) Better graphics don't win console wars, and never have and never will. PS2 was the weakest system of the 6th generation graphically and it broke the world record of console sales.

2) Online play doesn't win console wars, and never has and never will. XBox had the best online play of the 6th generation and was at a nice distant 2nd by about 100 million or so by the time it's fully over with. I forge the percentage of console gamers that take their games online, but it's low enough to be negligible. Hell, like I said, PS2 totally rocked XBox even without XBox Live.

Price and it's visionary. Cool stuff you can do with the motion controls that can not be done on the other consoles, but everything that you can do on the other consoles can be done on the wii, just not a pretty.

I have a couple of dozen wii games. I'm trying to think of any stronger 360 or ps3 games that I want. Not many. Ratchet and Clank and a few others, but, honestly I like the diversity of the wii better and find it much stronger.
