I should have added that he does have ancestors from 🇮🇪 and 🇩🇪 but Trump's father was born in America. Still, messing up something this big is certainly a bad sign.

His grandfather fled to the U.S. to avoid service in the Bavarian Army.

Ok, well he's clearly doing what's called comfabulation with these made up memories. But I didn't know about the Scottish thing, thanks for the info.

Makes sense.

As I always say, any 18-year-old recruit getting screamed off of the bus at San Diego by the receiving DI for the first time, already has more military experience than at least five generations of Trumps combined, by the time he finishes power-walking to the yellow footprints.

Military service is not a requisite for being President - one of the cornerstones of American democracy is supposed to be that the military is under civilian control - but there's a difference between simply not serving and being a draft-dodging chicken-hawk. Clinton was accused of draft-dodging, but Trump not only bragged about draft-dodging, he's openly disrespectful of the military.

Now he's started WWIII just to distract from the Epstein files.

A DRAFT DODGER STARTED WWIII, LET THAT SINK IN.
