What is the point of this thread? We saw the actual game footage and it looks fantastic. One of the best looking games period.

Why bring this up again except as a reason to bash Sony out of the blue?

Killzone 2's gameplay was described by the people who were given the chance to play it in the private showing of it that it things felt similar to the way the Call of Duty games play. Seeing as Call of Duty 4 is Call of Duty 2 with a new coat of paint, I would think that the Call of Duty series would have been an inspiration.


Except there is a first person cover system.

I don't know, COD4 reminds me alot about that first trailer, I' not into FPS's and hadn't layed one in years, then I played COD4 and was very intrigued at how the game was made, and looking back at the Killzone trailer, it reminds me of it. Scnes like when you get shot and get thrown a gun to kill that bald guy (COD4), are the ones that I'm talking about.

Don't know if you guys get what I'm trying to say lol. Its like playing what usually is represented in cut-scenes.

I really liked the first Killzone as well, despite some of the technical problems.

I still have the E3 05 demo on my computer, and the real game trailer from last year on the PS3. I still think it is the best looking trailer on the PSN for a game so far.

It will be epic!   At least I hope so.

Well I actually thaught that Ressistance looked better ... Killzone 2 will probably be great , but at this point Its hard to belive that it will be bigger that R2 IMO ...

I enjoyed the original Killzone as well.  Had they fixed the texture pop-in, managed to maintain a steady framerate, and spruced up the AI a bit (okay, a lot), the game would've been great.

Offline multiplayer with bots was the best, imo.
