Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Now this is going to probably cost an arm and a leg, but I really like the boldness of Chinese retro handheld manufacturers - ONEXSUGAR Wallet, to be the first foldable handheld

Anbernic is already launching refresh of it's entry into dual screen handhelds, RG DS Plus. Unfortunately, same chipset as original RG DS, less RAM and no storage, but better (and slightly larger) screens for perfect 4x integer scaling and inbuilt stylus, for 95USD.

Retroid has announced two dual screen handhelds, Retroid Pocket Duo and Duo Lite. Unlike AYN Thor, which has same Lite version that differs from "Full" only in SoC, this one has notable differences, first being screens

and second being shoulder buttons

Pocket Duo will be running on Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 equivalent SoC, which is better than 865 in Retroid 5 and AYN Thor Lite, but not as good as 8 Gen 2 in AYN Thor.

Pocket Duo Lite is aimed at "just the right performance at affordable price" and will be running on Snapdragon 665 equivalent, which is quite below even 865, but better than Rockchip RK3568 in Anbernic RG DS/Plus, so apparently, according to community, fine at running 3DS at 1x resolution.

Very happy with my Thor so not really in the market for the retroids but pricing will be key for the comparison between the two.

The performance of the 8G2 and a nice 6" Screen on Thor mean really the Duo needs to be cheaper. The only advantage I really see it has is the bottom screen is also 120hz unlike the Thor which only has 120hz on the top, though that has never bothered me.

@Zippy6

Well, Duo has bigger lower screen (4.5" vs 3.92" in Thor) with 4:3 aspect ratio (as opposed to Thor's 31:27), so that's another plus for that screen as well. I do agree though that it needs to be cheaper than Thor, and most likely it will be.

Given that both AYN and Retroid are pretty much the same company, it's good to see competition of a sorts. AYANEO Pocket DS is good device, but it's quite more expensive than Thor ($619 for 12GB+256GB vs $409 for same memory options for Thor), so no wonder it's not as popular.
