woot woot, 1000 points in Fallout 3! I'm proud of that.

Also, netflix on Live is AWESOME! Seriously. I expected buffering...buffering...buffering, but even on my modest 3 bar connection, no waiting, good quality standard definition movies. I joined back up just to try it out. I'm impressed though, probably going to keep it.

Yeah, I know. You guys mastered it long before I did :) Still... in my defense I did spend a bit with Infinite Undiscovery and beat Gears 2 on hardcore in between the 1000 points.

I think the overall gamerscore and races are the most important things.
Maybe we should have 2 leagues? A "pro" league, with people that have 10k gamerscore and up and a "newbie" league for people under 10k? it would be fairer to casual players, and the most hardcore would have a more focused competition.
But there is a downside: no races, I suspect, although you could just check both vgc accounts.


Anyway, I like it the way it is, but plats are useless.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the expert mode in Left 4 Dead is actually impossible with AI team mates.

Yah the AI is pretty good, sometimes I prefer an AI player over a retarded human player in versus. At least the AI has maphacks...

The only other thing I think would be the Platinum games list on the first page.  Those go to the person with the highest points in one of the qualifying games (popular games).  It's also the most important aspect of the league for true skill

But you get no points at all for Plats.  So they have no effect on the league ranking.  Like I said earlier they are just ego badges.  I just finally earned another one and should have a third one this week... and even with that I'm saying if anything had to go it's Plats.

 

I think races qualify as a test of true skill as well as weekly gamerscore.

I've never competed in one of the races but I wouldn't scrap them, just make them a less important and more hardcore part of the gamerscore league
