Well, pressing Down+B in midair for horizontal grabs is very helpful for the Secret Tunnels. The one on top is pretty easy, the one at the bottom though is a different story (just be patient before trying to grab the moving platforms, my tip). I had the upgrade for the rebound shots weapon, so I guess it helped a bit.

You just got to do some challenges to learn the extra moves you can do with the Bionic Arm. It feels so satisfying when you get the ''perfect'' hang of it and start using shortcuts in levels and speed running them! ;)

Oh, and if you think the Secret Tunnels are a bitch, wait for that second part of the last level!

Damn. I need to get better at this game. I have such trouble getting the hang of what makes me swing from a platform compared to what lets me swing back the other way and yet again what makes me latch onto the platofrm I'm swinging on and bring myself up.

@EagleEyes RE TooHuman: Surely all main games should be 4 week races. In EU we already get a 10 day penalty so that would give us half the time of our US counterparts if it were only a 3 week challenge. Its already hard enough fitting in the game time around work and GF! 4 weeks pls!

Well, what's really important to remember is that if you let go the Left Stick, you'll be aiming diagonally wherever you're facing. Also, when you push the stick left or right, you'll shot the arm horizontally where you're facing. If you're hooked somewhere and press the B button, you'll automatically reel up and stop moving. There are ways to make you move again, such as letting it go (push stick down) and pressing B immediately to shoot diagonally, or you just have to shoot with your shotgun and you'll start swinging back and forth again. When swinging, you push the stick in the direction you want to go, and if you want to shoot diagonally again, you have to remember to let go the stick before pressing the B button.

Luckily, the controls are exactly the same like the NES/GB version, but the physics are more real this time. Practice is what makes you good at this game. I mean, it's so rare we have these type of games with ''swinging & hanging'' mechanics (especially in 2D), I guess it's quite normal that people are having trouble with the controls.

Oh don't get me wrong. I love the game. I'm a huge supporter of bringing 2D games back. I'll take your advice and apply it to the game and see if it helps. I just wish the game would better explain the controls, even on a still screen so I could get acquainted to them better.

My complaint with GeoWars 2 is that your gun no longer powers up. It's odd to have a game that's supposidly "evolved" when they are taking features out in place of new ones.

So I like all the new modes but they could have kept that one mode the same. I think the first one is way harder, in general. I've still only managed 60 gs on it.

I guess both are just as hard in gameplay, but in terms of Achievements, GeoWars 1 are MUCH harder, in a completely different league. GeoWars 2 is a much better game imo, more modes, better graphics, and the Geoms that the enemies leave after they die make it more fun.

GeoWars 2 is great value for money, I will always go back for a quickplay and up my score. The Achievements are a great thing to try for as well.

Hmm when Too Human gets released, its the beginning of the end for me hehe and I suspect will be for most of you. There is 20 games on my wishlist from Too Human until the The Last Remnant and, although I will probably cut it down to 10, it will still be much more gaming and less posting.

Definitely. Bionic Commando was one of my favorite games on the NES, and I can't wait to see what GRIN is going to bring up to the table with the series. If it's going to be as epic as Metroid Prime was for Retro Studios, Bionic Commando is definitely going to be one of the best games of this generation.

I'm going to say that Bionic Commando Rearmed is my third best game this generation (MGS 4 being first, Mass Effect being second)! It's fan service to the max. I especially liked the ''explod'' joke! XD

Yeah, hardly exciting games are they lol, I think the fact that i'm actually looking forward to a golf and a darts game shows that i have played far too many FPS games over the last 18 months, Quake 4, Prey, Frontlines: fuel of war, Call of duty 2, 3 & 4, The darkness, Halo 3, Call of juarez, Battlefield: bad company, Unreal tournament 3, Perfect dark zero, Doom ect ect, i think i just need a break from constantly killing people in videogames lol.... so i'm gonna get sporty on my 360 and throw some arrows and hit some golf balls.........

Some of you may laugh now, but i bet i see some of you on the Golf course and on the Darts oche later this year

Tiger Woods PGA Tour rules !!! I'm a huge fan of the series but I already have 08 and I don't think 09 is worth the full price. Maybe I 'll buy it next year.
