If Uno was a hit Monopoly should be huge. I have been waiting to hear about a Monopoly game for XBLA. Next up....Wheel of Fortune an Jeopardy!

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Didn't Take-Two also do this with Bully?
Are they also retarded?
Some developers don't want to port games to systems that they feel aren't worth the cost of the port. This might be what happened here. Happens all the time with the Wii. I don't consider it retarded. I certainly wish it wasn't so, but I understand the reasoning behind the decision, even though sometimes I feel I know better than publishers about their own games, but I'm a biased Nintendo fanboy, so what do I know. |
Seriously, what the hell are you talking about with the Bully example. The Wii and 360 versions were ports of an older PS2 game, which came out at least a year beforehand. The PS3 "missed out" on a game that was a Sony exclusive in the first place.
You're logic is right, but your example is a bad one. Crash of the Titans would be a better one for instance, not that anyone really wanted that game in the first place.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Hey, now! I remember playing all three games (Monopoly, Wheel, and Jeopard) on the NES! They were awesome!
In all seriousness, they really were fun, but the newer generation stuff would have to surprise me to be that fun again.
The BuShA owns all!
This is unfortunate for the PS3. Though the game will be god-awful, EA does not seem to think enough of the PS3 to even put it on there. Meanwhile, it will be selling bucketloads on the Wii.
Uh, if it's on PS2 I could play it on my PS3...but Monopoly isn't the greatest game.
GIve me some Axis and Allies.
ehhh.....i don't think many PS3 owners would buy it anyways

I played a ton of the '98 PC version. Would probably buy a new one assuming it isn't made by EA.

Yeah I have a PC version, so I assume that's what year it was. It could be a little better. I would want mouse support if it was on PS3. EA puts out a lot of great games. They aren't all bad, even if 2007 was a bad year for PS3.
