The sales aren't bad for a late port and being almost full priced.

Hopefully the game continues to climb the charts as more people find out about it.

So they can forget it again. Or want to. The Platinum Games made the Boss fights are neat and I finished the game and the DLC. It's not an RPG. It's writing is awful and esp of women. The combat is brain-dead button-mashing. Nothing resembling DMC. No elemental stats is lame. Stranger in Paradise is a better ARPG and game. So is Rebirth. TBH FF16 deserved to bomb for SE's expectations. 2023-2024 we saw so many great RPGs that put it to shame.

Obviously it's not doing as well as a day one release would have but it's not doing poorly.

Already has more owners on TA than FF2-6 which released about 9 months ago on Xbox. Should catch FF1 and FF14 soon.
Using the Wayback machine, it has about the same amount of owners that Stranger of Paradise had after 1 1/2 months and it's also on par with Crisis Core FFVII Reunion which released shortly before Christmas.

FF7 Remake hits Xbox Series on the 22nd of January 2026:
