I've toyed around with Stable Diffusion and keep track of the latest innovations in generative AI on YT. 

Interestingly, my frustration with SD's limitations motivated me to pick more conventional creative software back up.

It could absolutely go horribly wrong but I do think there's strong potential for AI and robotics to get humanity a lot closer to a utopia. The transition period will likely be horrid but eventually people shouldn't have to work to get by any more due to AI and robots doing all the work and providing resources.
