I seem to get disconnected only about 1% of the races I participate in... Must be either your internet connection or the signal strength to the Wii.

Called broadband provider and they switched channel from 6 to 1 (the Nintendo website also suggested that). After that had about five races with no problem so hopefully it's all sorted.

Hi, I've been having the same problem:( I first got mario kart in january and until a week ago never got disconnected and had no problems.

Now it's letting me connect picks the people i'm going to race against then I'll either see them racing and they all freeze then I get disconnected or it'll let me start the race but after about 2 laps they all stop and I finish the race, Sometime i get the points for winning then disconnects but most of the time it'll just disconnect I've lost nearly 2 thousand points because of this:(

I also had the same problem last week. I usually get disconnected about one game out of twenty but last week i was getting disconnected heaps, several incidences of about 5-6 times in succession, before during and even after races finished.

Then i had no problems through a couple of days of playing, had gotten up to 9993 experience points, my highest ever and was in a comfortable first place rounding the zips on the final bend of the final lap of Luigi Circuit.............. "you have been disconnected from the other players". I was, to say the least, not a happy camper.

For those that get disconnected all the time; its because God hates you.... ... and you're ugly.

Nintendo is cleaning up the noobs. They're just being polite.

It's because Nintendo found out that you are hacking.

They are trying to get rid of this sort of thing. :p
