the toys r us i work at had 360 copies in and 100 are already pre ordered, most of the pre sales i took were "soccer moms" or young couples, i also pre ordered but i've decided not to get it as i aint spending 70 quid on summink i'll only use for one weekend (even though thats the average amount i spend on a boozy night out,lol)



nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)

toys r us rarely takes pre orders on games, the last one was halo 3 which had 3 pre orders but with it being toys r us that's understandable so there really isn't much for comparison, although saying that quite a few people have enquired about gta4 pre orders these past couple of weeks but sadly we aren't taking them.

I must say that I'm surprised by the hardcore response to this game. When it was announced last year I know many were a little let down that this was Nintendo's Teh Megaton for e307.

I'm not sure if it is that people are excited about the implications of the board and what it will mean to games like shooters/skateboard sims...or if tehre is a genuine interest in actually playing WiiFit. I'm getting it, but I think I fall in the former category as opposed to the latter. Stillwell's comments about Balance Board, plus wii-mote, plus head tracking perfectly sums up my excitement for this peripheral.
