Can’t say I don’t understand why Nintendo made a more conservative forecast for the Switch 2. There are more unpredictable factors (intrinsic and extrinsic) that Nintendo has to take into account with this gen. The issue with tariffs will be something to really pay attention to as it already affected their preorder dates. I wonder what software to console sale ratio would they want to gain profit?

Maybe they also don't expect too many big software hitters on the first party front during the first fiscal year to explain why they won't go beyond the 15M tally.

Anyway, they'll also need to look at the first few months of prolonged sales to see if there's reason to lower or make forecast a higher one
