Simple Poll of the Week question this week.

Bonus question: Which of the launch games are you looking forward to the most?

Personally, I am excited about Mario Kart but since my spouse and me play a lot of Mario Party, I'm excited to play with the new functions (though the 20 dollar price tag does feel a bit ridiculous). I also ordered the Piranha Plant camera. I am probably going to get Welcome Party too just because it's pretty cheap. Also interested in Split Fiction but not sure if we are getting it for the Switch 2 or the PS5 since we played It Takes Two on the PS5. And then Civilization VII is up there for me too. Obviously I'm going to pick up Donkey Kong as well but it's not coming out until July.

Should get mine on launch day. Mario Kart and Fast Fusion are the only day one titles I'm interested in.

Yes I was! I almost gave up hope after 45 minutes and seeing one by one retail stores that they were sold out. But then Best Buy had a delayed launch, so was able to get into the queue, and after nearly 25 minutes of waiting, I finally got in and was able to secure one.

As far as launch games, outside of GameCube, just Mario Kart World and CP2077. Although Fast Fusion is on my radar. I enjoyed Fast RMX as a launch title for the first Switch.

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Yes. I received an invitation from mynintendostore and pre-ordered it there. I got the MKW Pack and a carrying case.

I also plan to get FAST Fusion and Deltarune day 1.

Target and Walmart kept crashing and having errors, but Best Buy started 35 minutes after the others, put me in a QUE, 10 or so minutes later I got my preorder in. Launch games I'm excited to play a lot of Mario Kart of course. But I'm also excited to play through BOTW for a 2nd time. Playing it in higher resolution and frame rates, seems like the perfect time to play through it again.

In no rush to get one. Maybe pick one up when they release a newer model years from now.

Yeah, a couple of months ago. Im getting it with Mario Kart World and Cyberpunk 2077.

I tried Walmart at midnight, but it crashed and then every stock was gone. Tried Best Buy, at 9 am the website crashed then everything was gone. So went to a GameStop nearby before the opening at 10 am, was 20th in line and finally secured my Switch bundle! Phew that was a hassle.

I experienced a lot to the headaches others did around midnight on the 24th. Best Buy was a no go, and Target kept jerking me around in the payment screen. I finally got through at Target around 12:09am.

My wife, though, was in payment purgatory for ~45 minutes. Since she failed to get one, I kept trying on Walmart. Eventually, a little before 1am, I secured a second pre-order for her — although not before my credit card company flagged the purchase as potential fraud.

So, we each have a MK bundle heading out way. It feels good to have that locked in.

I also have the Nintendo Store invite as a backup, in case either order is cancelled.

Surprisingly it wasn't as stressful as trying to get a PS5 initially, though it definitely felt like it would be for a minute.

I kept refreshing Best Buy until the preorder screen came up. I bought mine at Target (pretty quickly surprisingly). But I was in the same boat with my spouse. My laptop, phone, and his phone were in that annoying Best Buy queue until all 3 deviced inevitably timed out. He gave up and went to sleep but I stayed up to keep trying and eventually they just changed the prompt to say "Sold Out."

The next day while I was at work, he had to fight with Gamestop's website, which went down at one point. Then he got through and was told it went through but he didn't immediately get a confirmation email. It took a few hours for them to send it to him and I guess they don't take money out immediately like Target did for my preorder. So I made him go to the website to make it went through.
