I wonder if these will be counted by Nintendo as shipments for BOTW/TOTK/whatever on Switch 1, or counted as Switch 2 software.
I would guess that these would count towards Switch 1 software shipments?

Does it really matter in the end? Just bundle them together as Switch games shipments.

Just curious. It's not a big deal, just wondered.

That is on a game-key card, which is my point. These were supposed to replace download codes. Key-cards aren't great but they're better than vaporware on paper.
I actually believed a console platform managed to rid the scourge of download codes. Jokes on me.

Initially They described as a code inside the physical copy, maybe was a mistake when They announced or probably changed for a key-card later.

In Japan there were physical edition of BotW & DLC and Mario Kart & DLC. Famitsu counted them separately, but Nintendo didn't in their updates. I assume it's going to be the same here. Famitsu separates them, Nintendo would not.
