I was pretty busy throughout the weekend, so I was only able to play for a couple hours, but outside of the camera being kinda frustrating when you start going through the dirt, I'm having a great time so far! DK looks and feels great to play! Gonna be binging this game starting tonight.

I've been binging this game, but I'm gonna stop where I am for a while because of how close to the end it feels.

The art direction is on point in DKB.

I know!! ^^

One small but underrated thing I really like is the implementation of HD Rumble 2.

The subtle tactile feedback really enhances the feel of the game.

So we have launch sales numbers for DK Bananza in two countries as of now (physical sales only).

UK (36K) and Spain (22,3K).

Based on those numbers France should be >40K, while Germany should be ~30K.

Fun fact. Pauline is also voiced in Dutch. I can seriously not remember ever a Dutch voiced character in a Nintendo game. Subtitles obviously since decades, but voiced? Cool for young Dutch kids playing that have not learned to read properly yet or haven't learned another language yet.

Hopefully more than that.

Anyone besides me unable to find Cranky Kong in the Freezer Layer?

Whoever was behind the sound effects for smashing through various materials deserves a promotion; whether its sand, rock, mud, or snow, the audio feedback is so crunchy and physical and really makes the destruction feel satisfying.

Should we wait one more day before anybody here says who the final boss is?
