2/3 of the first-party line-up being mascot racing games was not what I was expecting. Very good move to make Mario Kart a pack-in, but it looks like they're counting on Mario Kart and the strength of the Switch brand and nothing else to carry Switch 2 through the launch period. Kirby Air Ride is great, but when only 3 new first-part games were announced, 2 of them being mascot racers looks very odd. And Donkey Kong Bananza looks really good, but it will not have the same appeal as a 3d Mario or a Smash Bros. game.

I think they perhaps trying to give 3rd party air time, so people buy something else other than just Nintendo games.

The 3rd party ones they announced are great and deserve some sales to show we want quality games on the system.

Maybe.  I know I'll be getting Hogwarts Legacy and Cyberpunk for their added control options, as well as the new Fast game and the Ridge Racer arcade game.

Well this is disappointing. Game Key cards. FMD. Just charge me more happy to pay.

Ugh. Bravely Default is a 3DS remaster (and looks like it too), there's no way it'd need a large cartridge and it's still not on the cart lol....

So what is the point of these for publishers?
If the game is too big for the cartridge I could understand. But this is a 3DS game. And this version appears to be 11 GB.
Are these game-key cartridges that much cheaper than 16 GB cartridges?

Also, possibly bad news for the cost of Switch 2 due to USA's tariffs.

What I like about Switch 2 - 120fps support
What I don't like about Switch 2 - The price. Think I saw something about having to pay to import your Switch 1 games.

Hopefully this doesn't have a big impact on Nintendo's plans. But perhaps we could see the price of the switch 2 rising post-laumch.

Will pick up the MKW bundle at launch as in the UK you'll effectively be paying only £35 for the game but also two things I want to try out are one the mouse functions and two the two buttons on the pro controller the GL and GR buttons I can see those becoming standard in future.

Shame VGChartz didn't do an April Fools fake news story that Switch 2 games would be $80 then the next day it came true lol.

Seems DKB is gonna be $70…so maybe just a MarioKart thing?

Walmart pricing for physical Switch 2 games.

Mario Kart, Mario Party, ToTK, Kirby = $80

DK, BoTW = $70

lol what on earth is this pricing? $70 for DK, but $80 for SMPJamboree? (also, i’m not too sure if I’d trust price tags from Walmart…they tend to be a bit sketchy from what I’ve observed.)
