Forums - Sales - Which Will Sell More in 2025: Xbox Series X/S or Nintendo Switch?

Who will come out on top this year?

Xbox Series X/S 8 11.27%

Nintendo Switch 1 60 84.51%

It’ll pretty much be a tie 3 4.23%

Total:71

I could make a console and i'd outsell the Xbox.

So...why was this generation's Xbox named "Series" when it ain't even getting a midgen upgrade? At announcement, I legit thought they were going to make an upgrade every 2 or 3 years, and maybe even ditch mandating developing for the lowest common denominator late in the generation, but neither is happening. I surmised that it could be the 2nd step toward turning Xbox into a closed PC of sorts.

Can't make sense out of its name.

Their console naming conventions have always been silly and made no sense.

As for why no mid-gen revision, maybe the Xbox One X didn't recoup the investment they sank into it, so they decided not to bother this time around.

Coughing baby vs Hydrogen Bomb. Switch, easily.

Xbox "One" followed by "Series" is a hell of a shit naming combo. Meanwhile at Playstation... (minus Vita the ultimate energy drink).

As I've said before they really should've just called it Xbox 5. People would've pointed out that it's actually the 4th one but no one would've cared any more after like two days and the 2nd one being called the 360 would've helped with it.
