If I'm doing just the ones with release dates, DKC Returns, Avowed, Revenge of the Strange Planet

If I am going for games that are supposed to come out this year: Ghost of Yotei, The Outer Worlds 2, and Borderlands 4.

And my dream 3 would be The Wolverine, Judas, and Ghost of Yotei.

I’m excited for Revenge of the Savage Planet, too! Journey to the Savage Planet was one of the most pleasantly surprising games of 2020. Definitely one of those hidden gems.

Around the Network

I mean my list is gonna surely change after we finally get the whole Switch 2 presentation with the few games announced there but at the moment it looks like this :

Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond and Lunar Remastered Collection.

Loving myself some Nintendo sci-fi

I'll go with my top 3 from the Most Wanted January thread:

  1. Ghost of Yotei: Ghost of Tsushima simply had that magic that most games, especially these days, lack. It's unlikely that Ghost of Yotei will also have that magic, but it's still probably my most anticipated game at the moment.
  2. Avowed: I first-person RPG with meaningful choices (I guess)? Yes please! Also, I don't have much experience with Obsidian, but they seem to make great games.
  3. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach: It's Kojima's next game, and I loved the first Death Stranding as well. The game will probably have its flaws, just like the first one, but it's also 100 % guaranteed to have a proper soul (and probably a strong vision as well).

It's not like I'm going to be able to play any of these any time soon, because I don't own a PS5 (yet?) and don't want to pay full price for almost any game for digital purchases that lack resale value (not that I sell many of my games, but it's the principle), but right now this is the situation.
