Well, think this is my list, haven't had much time this month or so but also just wasting too much time on BG3. :P
Hmm, pie.
This will probably end up being my final list for this year:
Total War and Starfield were playthroughs I started a good while ago and finished only this year. I started Marsupilami a good while ago too, but I lost my save due to cloud save issues and was forced to start over. Fortunately it wasn't a very long game though.
Likely my final list of the year, unless I start and finish a game in the next couple days:
1. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Switch)
2. Ys IV: Mask of the Sun (SNES/SFC)
3. Ys 3: Wanderers from Ys (SNES)
4. Soul Blazer (SNES)
5. Super Meat Boy (PC)
6. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (XBOX Series X)
7. Suikoden 1 HD (PC)
8. Dread Delusion (PC)
9. Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (Switch 2)
10. Final Fantasy Legend (Switch 2)
11. Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders (PC)
12. Heretic: Faith Renewed (PC)
13. Shadow of the Ninja Reborn (Switch 2)
14. Hollow Knight: Silksong (Switch 2
15. Shin Megami Tensei 3 (PC)
16. Metroid Prime 4 (Switch 2)
All these were on original hardware.
Castlevania 4, Contra 3, FF4, Secret of Mana, Illusion of Gaia, FF6, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, Megaman X, Batman Returns, Final Fight 2,3, Turtles in Time, Yoshi's Island, Castlevania Bloodlines, Gunstar Hero's, Streets of Rage 3, Golden Axe 1,2, The Jungle Book, The Lion King, Ecco 2, and Rocket Knight Adventures.
Modern games: MKW, DKB and Astro Bot.
I managed to sneak in one final game.

Triangle Strategy (Green route)
So I beat Triangle Strategy on hard difficulty. I expected it to to be easy like other recent turn based tactics games, and it was actually quite challenging. Overall it took me 50 hours but 20 of those hours were retries as you get exp even after losing. Sometimes I reloaded a save to keep the challenge, especially if I was close, but if not I let my level catch up to the recommended level and also had better strategy and often beat it. I like this game unlike Persona tactics and others because you can have 10 or 12 units per battle allowing for much more strategical depth. If you misposition one of those 12 and they die, well, the whole run might be done for. But on hard difficulty the dudes hit so hard, the mages will one shot your guys anyways, so I had to incorporate strategies taking that into account by either sniping the mages or sacrificing a dude or two. The gameplay was great fun, but the story was passable. A lot of moments in the game made zero sense and many were just for shock value. Still I like the branching paths, which means I need to do NG+ for the other paths. The music was decent. Overall a good game, now time to beat the other paths.
I have also been playing Europa Universalis 5. It isn't really beatable but I did one playthrough with Teutonic Order> Prussian Empire. The game was a lot of fun to learn as I didn't have much experience with EU4, but a vast amount of experience with other Paradox games. However as you get into late game, to be most efficient is an insane amount of micro that my hand starting hurting especially around the thumb. I had to quit the game and hope Paradox either patches it or gives me some decent hotkeys. Learning how to carpet siege definitely helped midway through the run. TO is also kind of a broken country in terms of balance, but I had my fun. Overall a fun game with a lot of potential, but in typical Paradox fashion, needs more patches.
Of course most of my time has been spent on World of Warcraft Classic Anniversary in anticipation for Burning Crusade, so I might as well lay down my progress there. I have a level 39 Warrior (59 hours), level 50 Shaman (94 hours), level 26 Druid(20 hours), and level 19 warlock(9 hours). All characters on heavily populated PVP servers, so significantly slowed down. When BC comes out leveling gets much faster, I hoped to have at least the shaman be BC level.
Overall this year has been sparse on JRPGs, so WoW replacing that made it a good year. I don't plan to play BC for too long, and next year I have plans to play a a lot more JRPGs whether they be new or not. POE2 also has yet to see full release, so if that happens I can also continue to play that. I should also be able to buy a Switch 2 before my plane trip so I can play some games on the plane too. Looking forward to 2026.
