Banjo Tooie.

One of the last of the great collectathons; Rare left Nintendo shortly afterwards and Microsoft seems to have zero interest in a traditional BK sequel.

I think it was more of a pun, but yeah, sequel to both games would be great.

Unfortunately, MS in their "infinite wisdom" dismantled studio behind the reboot, which is idiotic, since studios that know how to make good games with immersive sim elements are few and in between.

Yeah it was primarily more of a pun since it would be an impossibility with Prey 2017 being a reboot of the original Prey 2 being cancelled lol. I just found it amusing that Prey had 2 beloved initial releases and neither release had a sequel.

What could've been though!

I remember that trailer, and to be honest, as a fan of original, it didn't click with me at all. Prey 2017 was quite different than original, but it went in direction of System Shock, which was a plus for me.

Speaking of Arcane Studios, game I still find to be my favourite of theirs, Arx Fatalis, is another one that I'd love to see sequel to.

Will never forget this trailer. Ahhhh, what could have been.

Black on Xbox/PS2 comes to mind; one of the greatest shooters of the 6th gen, but sadly it never got a real sequel.

There was a "spiritual successor" of sorts on PS3/360 called Body Count, but it was crap.
