It really baffles me how this happens.
Now, don't get me wrong, I understand and even find it logical to have different regions involving countries with lower incomes and prices than others. North America and South America being two different regions? Sure. Europe and Africa? Makes sense as well. But putting EU and North American countries in two different regions AND not making it possible to gift from one to the other or between the same region (some years ago there was this problem to gift from Canada to the US), is extremely hard to understand and, in my mind, utterly ridiculous.
And the fact that we don't know who is more to blame, if Valve/Steam or the publihsers, make it more annoying.
So yeah, sorry the problems you're experiencing, guys.
