We have 3 "facts":
1.) 155,1 million PS2 shipped march 31 2012
2.) over 155 million PS2 sold march 31 2012
3.) over 160 million PS2 sold march 31 2012
While 1 and 2 could go hand in hand, 3 obviously can't. Intended ot not, at least 1 of these is a lie! I do not wanna accuse anyone but i wouldn't rule it out that Sony really is a little afraid/ pissed of the Switch! Because 155,1 million is a number switch will surley surpass! And it proves 1 thing that cannot be denied anymore: Sony and Nintendo DO COMPETE DIRECTLY with each other, like it or not. Sony themselfes see it like that. Otherwise they would not hold such a childish circus about a 24 years old console!

It's just an oversight on their website. So stop seeing lies everywhere, it's getting ridiculous. 
But we all know that it's March 2013, not 2012 - it's even engraved on the console and marked on the quarterly report.

Its fake! Anyone can do that! Why does Sony themselfes say "as of march 31 2012" on their homepage? You can lie how you like it won't change facts! I wrote a thesis about videogames. Putting the PS2 at 155,1. And it passed. If it was wrong a digital system with wichs help thesises are checked would set a message "wrong information" "source untrustfully". You are the one lying. You are the one believing obvious lies of persons who should be more serious in their positions. But Sonyfans swallow everything they've been told right? I remember when Sony lied about the PS2 being the most powerfull console of its generation when Xbox and Gamecube where obviously more powerfull! Sony has gotten more unserious since this year.2

You can send childish pics as much as you like, make an 160.000.000 tatoo on your ass, it does not change the fact its a lie! Remember when Sony had to remove the 8K on the standard PS5? Remember they had to admit, close to no PS3 game was running in 1080p? Remember this? Sony is known for lying! As an investor i would jump off. I would not be surprised if these numbers where checked by tax agencies! I will never use a fake number!

I only say 8k for PS5- removed, 1080p for PS3 games- we know it was a lie...

Digital Foundry did an entire video series on 1080P PS3 games. There are quite a few.

Yes, Indies. But but not AAA blockbusters. Uncharted, Resistance, Killzone... are 720p, sometimes even lower. God of War 3 is 720p- 1080i. I own the games myself🙂

So much pathetic stuff going on here, even people mentioning the Switch lol.
