Forums - Movies & TV - Arcane: Season 2

Anybody else watching this? The first three episodes are out now, with the next three coming on the 16th of this month, and the last three on the 23rd.

So far I'm loving it; the animation is breathtaking, the voicework incredible, and the storytelling as powerful as ever.

This will also be the final season, which I personally am happy about, as I'd rather it be wrapped up conclusively than risk getting canned before it's finished or dragged out too long.

Rewatched s1 yesterday, im waiting for the full s2 ep release to start watching. + they probably do some other series, there is so much characters and lore in league of legends.

Love it. Loved the first season and so far im loving the second one.

I still wont play LOL tho.

Absolutely. I know there's been some talk about this show's budget and its brief run. Hopefully it's just a bunch of FUD and we get many more stories from this team with similar production values in good time. Hopefully it invites other companies to step their game up as well.

That last episode... 😢

Loving the new season so far!

Great to hear that people like episodes from the second season. I have yet to start watching the second season but the first is probably my favorite animated series ever. The art style is just such a feast to the eye.

Even if this is the last season of this story arc I'm confident that they will produce more but focusing on other characters or from a different part of the League of Legends universe. I just hope they keep the style.

Season 2 was messier and poorer paced than Season 1, but damn if I don't have that empty feeling after that only great works leave you with when they end. I read earlier today that their next story isn't in production yet and thus a long way off. The wait is gonna be agonizing but at least this story ends on a high note.

Finally got around to finishing it, due to a combination of being insanely busy and watching one episode per day to savour it.

Wow, what a ride. Storytelling, acting, visuals, just a tour de force on every level. If I had one complaint it's that the ending felt just a tiny bit rushed, but it still hits like a freight train.

Now that it's complete, this is up there with Dark and Star Trek the Next Generation as a serious contender for my favourite show of all time. I am glad to hear there are more stories coming in this universe, hopefully they measure up to the high standard set here.
