Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
I think I am about 33 % through. I must admit, I am quite disappointed so far, I don't see (yet) why this is considered the pinnacle of the series by many. I just completed the first two (and completed 4 and 5 many years ago). I found the first game to be great, but not the masterpiece some make it out to be. The second game was indeed incredible and had a lot of mind-blowing ideas. So far Snake Eater has delivered some awesome stealth sections, that are superior to any I experienced in the first two games, but they are too far between. The game is brought down by a lot of cumbersome micromanagement shit, where I am spending a disproportional amount of time in slow menus. A camouflage-system is cool on paper, but it is implemented poorly, as you just have to go to a menu and see the numbers. The survival stuff is also mainly a pain to deal with, hunting and eating food is okay, but fixing injuries is just annoying and repetitive. The game is also just clunky as hell, Snake never does what I want him to, you have to press X twice to make him stand up, and the game changes to first-person by itself when crawling in grass or swimming under water. The story and characters also seem even more campy than the first two games, WTF is up with that Bee-guy?
Also had to navigate through a tedious cave labyrinth. I don't get it! I hope the game catches up, and it becomes obvious why it is held in such high esteem. It started really promising, but if it continues in this gear, I think I would easily rank it as the worst of the MGS games I have played.
It makes sense to me suddenly why Konami picked this game for a remake, as it clearly has the most room for quality-of-life improvements. Just a pity they didn't actually bother to fix them all, as I understand it. Instead they spent the resources on updating the visuals, which was the part that held up well.

Have you played this in co-op? Better experience single player, but I'm always a sucker for co-op and sharing the experience with a friend/partner.
Once Upon a Katamari
Completed and I enjoyed it but after all this years I hope they will add new stuff in the next entry, also not a fan of the cow bear ones/fifty challenges ^^'.
