What characters annoyed you the most in video games?

Might think of more later but the two immediately spring to mind.

Genesis in Final Fantasy Crisis Core. This is easily the worst Final Fantasy character to ever exist. He is peak mid-2000s Nomura cringe. DA GODDESS. I like the game but holy shit unless FF7 Remake Part 3 brings him back I think there is a reason there has been zero mention of him in the remake games. They even brought back lameo bandage fucko nero for those games but not Genesis and his constant saying DA GODDESS repeating some bad poetry. Mid-2000s Emo bait.

Del. Gears of War 4. Gears 4 was caught in the mid-2010s trend of we saw MCU Movies so we will do the self-aware witty banter thing. It sucks. Del esp sucks because he complains and bitches every 3 fucking seconds of that game. He is such a bitch. I let him die in Gears 5 because of that. Fuck him. Dude, I don't want this Del.

that one humanoid monster zombie thing from TLoU:pt1 in the high school gym. I would use all my bullets (on my fully preloaded guns), all my bombs and glasses, and yet he would not give up...granted, I was resilient in sticking to Survival Mode. (Not sure if this is what you were looking for when you ask for most annoying character, but he def is the most annoying character I've ever encountered in a video game.)

The 4 legged one eye jumper in several Zelda games. Playing Echoes of Wisdom reminded me how much I hate these critters.

Insufferable. She's the tutorial NPC and she is aggressively unpleasant. I thought the designers openly hated me every time she was around.
