It is nice to use Dual Sense on PlayStation 2. I don't like PS2 controllers so I use the Dual Sense. Much better playing Gradius V with it. Haptic and all that won't work with PS2 tho.

I don't play racing games nowadays, but I decided to download Hot Wheels just to experience the adaptive triggers lol! |
It's pretty good right? It's got a prett solid campaign so far and the "car" feel great to drive. The boost mechanic is really excellent and yup, the triggers and haptics enhance the experience.
Bought myself a 3D pulse headset. Great Job, even more immersion. Great audio quality for such a cheap headset. Beats my ear buds by a mile.
Oh yeah, this is the way games were meant to be played. Haptics on full with 3d audio. I'm so fucking glad I didn't change to Xbox.

I played it for a bit and had some fun. The adaptative triggers feel great.

Definitely. I'm innawe of it, aside from those sharp edges on the inside of the arm grips which is it's only flaw I can see it's perfect. I'd even buy the premium upgrade but it would really suck if something that costs 199 broke. |
The Dualsense Edge is FAR too expensive, IMO.
With the PS6 hopefully they just tweak a bit or keep the design the same, and focus on offering a substantial upgrade in battery size.
I hardly game for 6h+ straight like I used to, so I don't run out of battery because I make sure to let it always fully charged (and have another 2 LE Dualsenses if needed be, lol), but it should be lasting at least 8h a full charge.

Hmm, maybe the battery degrades over time or the newer controllers have better battery but I spent all Sunday gaming, haptics on full blast. Most of the hours of like 12 and still only hit the yellow. I'm sure if I didn't charge it every night, it'd last me more than two days of normal gaming/PS on time before I need to recharge again if not three on the light days.
And yeah, it's not worth having a 200 euro controller break no matter how good it is, especially that I hear these break more than ps4 controllers cause of the haptics.

I think mine lasts 8 hours at most, but to be honest I forgot you can actually play with the low battery warning for quite some time.
I charge it more often than I have to, to have it at full charge when needed, so it probably would last 8 hours most of time if I let it, hmmm.
But the Switch Pro battery lasts much longer.

Try reclocking it, let it run out completely then charge it to full in one go, leave it on charge even a bit further after It gets to full. I do this with my battery tech from time to time and it helps.
I didn't find it game-changing, but it was really cool. Especially while playing Gran Turismo. Once you play that franchise with those triggers, you really have trouble going back. And that's coming from a reto-mostly gamer.
