As I've played very few, I'll have to go with Phantasy Star Portable, being a big fan of the franchise since SMS.

Also, Criminal Girls. Seriously, I loved the battle system, one of best in turn-based JRPGs I've played and that's saying something.

Daxter is probably the most impressive PSP game, but with three excellent games WipEout games across the two platforms, I have to vote for WipEout.

Ridge Racers
Tekken Dark Resurrection
Lumines
GTA Liberty City Stories
Syphon Filter Dark Mirror
Uncharted Golden Abyss
Gravity Rush
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep

Borrowed a PSP for a few hours, played and enjoyed Patapon. Always thought the system was cool but no game pulled me enough to get one but Patapon came close.

Chinatown Wars
Knights in the Knightmare
LocoRoco 2
Persona 3
God Eater
Dissidia

What Falcom game would you guys recommend me to play first? I own a PSP and a PC, and have access to Switch and PS5.

Depends on your tastes. I'm not big into them but the Trails series have long drawn out storylines that span multiple titles. I'm an Ys fan tho and while Ys 1 is my fave game ever. Also short. Oath might be the best Ys game ever made.  Ys 1-II are great but still use the old bump system combat (literally bump into enemies) jarring at first but get used to it fast. Oath is sword swinging. They are fast-paced ARPGs.

Finally got a Falcom game, Ys Origin! I'm like 70% done with Yunica... aaand... I think I'm in love! I went ahead and also bought Lacrimosa of Dana which is 50% off on PS Store (27 AUD). Looks like I might start running through this series before starting Valkyria Chronicles.

I will say that these pseudo 3D Ys games with no VA are more audio-visually pleasing to me than 3D ones from what I'm seeing on the internet. But it's actually kind of crazy how much better Ys feels when you're playing it compared to watching on YouTube.
